This is Our Agenda

The Agenda Project Action Fund is a guerilla insurgency designed for a very long war.  An agile force built to strike hard and melt back into the forest, Agenda Project Action doesn’t fight big money with big money, but rather with speed, cunning and the certain knowledge that the best ideas can win.  We don’t spend big to buy media so that we can impose our ideas on America, instead we create remarkable expressions of our values which spread because truth cannot be ignored.  Smart, fearless and utterly prepared, we reject middling consensus for unapologetic authenticity.

The government of the United States has millions of employees, offices around the world and an annual budget of $3 trillion dollars.  It is the single most powerful entity in the world. It can ensure freedom, protect the weak, explore new solar systems, create industries, transform economies, cure disease, and spread health and prosperity around the globe.  Or, in the wrong hands, it can divide humanity, enslave and exploit the vulnerable, foment war, reward destruction, encourage malevolence, and destroy the planet.

Because of the radical extremism of the Right, American politics is increasingly a battle for the political soul of the nation between two diametrically opposed worldviews.  The Right’s unlimited financial resources and its pathological immorality will destroy this country – indeed this world – if it manages to wrest control of the government from more rational hands.  Consider the damage the conservative movement has wreaked on our country and remember how many times in the last decade they have come within a hairs breath of complete political dominance.  Despite some gains in political power, the Left as it is currently constructed cannot best this cancer.  Progressive organizations are largely underfunded compared to their conservative counterparts.  Those that have adequate resources cling desperately to establishment positions in order to maintain their funding.  Much of the left still operates in single issue silos, a naturally limiting construct.  And politicians who may have some general preference for progressive policies often lack the personal fortitude necessary to do the right thing.  As a result, the effective power of the Right far exceeds the public support for either its policies or its political philosophy.

Radicalism cannot be met with subtlety and hesitation.  A fundamentally different kind of organization is required to dismantle the conservative premise and force it back into the dark corners of the national psyche where it belongs.

Agenda Project Action’s unique model marries the activities of a traditional marketing firm with a citizen-funded revenue stream.  This unique model allows us to advance a core set of values – a philosophical architecture – rather than a specific policy proposal or politician.

We can’t be hired, so we can’t be bought.  We don’t want to be big, we’d rather be honest.

Unlike traditional rapid response organizations, we don't try to respond to every single piece of propaganda disseminated by the Right.  Instead we focus on identifying those moments which best exemplify the fundamental differences between conservatives and the rest of America.  We develop creative illustrations – usually videos – to aggressive differentiate the perspectives, and in essence challenge our fellow citizens to examine their personal values and pick a side.  By selecting those issue which best embody the fundamental difference between the two sides, we are able to penetrate the rightwing propaganda machine and law bare the inadequacies of their worldview.

Our approach seeks to repeatedly strike the collective nerve in the body politic and in so doing to create a resonance that lives long after the initial communications is complete.  It is our ability to strike that nerve which accounts for the remarkable reach of our campaigns.

Each of our campaigns was wholly conceived and executed by the Agenda Project Action creative team.  These campaigns demonstrate the level of impact possible when an appreciation for human psychology and a keen understanding of the philosophical roots of political ideology are combined with a finely-honed creative capacity.  It is this unique combination that explains our uncanny, proven ability to share the media narrative and to permanently effect the American political dialogue.
